Football Heads: Poland 2021-22
This is the first time that 18 teams are participating in the Polish Football Championship. Each of the teams will play 34 matches with two games against each of the opponents. One game will be played home and one away. In the previous season, 16 teams took part in it, while the championship format remained the same. At the end of the championship, three teams must be relegated to I liga.
Radomiak, Bruk-Bet Termalica, and Górnik Łęczna joine the season coming from the I liga. Podbeskidze left the championship, because it was placed the last in 2020-21 Ekstraklasa.
Will Legia Warsaw, the winner of the previous season, be able to defend its title in the upcoming season?
